38 Weeks

How Far Along: 38 Weeks 3 Days

How Big is Baby: Large.....Forget fruit or all that other stuff...I am guess this little joker is weighing in around 7lbs 5 oz and 20 -21 inches long

Weight Gain: I seem to be losing weight....not really sure.  I was at 24.5 lbs this week.   Trust me...I am still eating like its going out of style, however the garden has come in and we are eating lots of fresh veggies (minus the weakness I had with cookie dough) and lots of fruit!

Sleep: Sleeping okay, except for one night.   I got up 9 times!!!  If I am going to get up that many times I might as well have a newborn to keep me company (someone please remind me of that statement next week).   Having some issues with my epilepsy this past week b/c of exhaustion, but hoping that will ease up.

Best moment this week: My girlfriends came and spent Saturday by the pool just relaxing and brought frozen dinners for after baby, then we all went out Saturday night for a girls dinner.  Lots of fun and much needed!!!

Food Cravings: Beginning to think I am a fish with the amount of water I need.   I know I have drank at least 100oz today!!!

Foods I Can't Stand: Chocolate = heartburn from Hell...even with the Zantac!!!

Movement: Slow rolls and sharp punches that hurt!!!

What I miss:  Going up stairs without being out of breath, normal clothes, getting dressed and not being exhausted, and just being comfortable...but there is a light at the end of the tunnel

What I am looking forward to: The arrival of Baby Hutch

Milestones: Only 5 more days left!!!

Working on My Fitness: Spin Class twice a week and walking on the days I don't do spin.

Other: I haven't dilated any more since last week.  Still having contractions sporadically, but nothing consistent.   I am having a few issues with my epilepsy, but they have worked with my medicine and hoping that will help.   I have also been taking it a little easier the past day or two because I had become overly exhausted.
My platelets were checked today at the end of my appointment and if they are near 100 or lower, I will take a steroid treatment over the weekend to boost them back up.   As of right now I will be able to be awake during the csection.
We are still schedule for 11am on Monday morning!!!  Can't believe its almost here...this pregnancy has flown by.

Nursery is Ready...well sorta of

I have the bones done and all the time consuming finished.   The clothes are washed and the gear is packed and ready.   However,  I am doing something a little different from last time. Besides waiting until I was 37 weeks to start on it...ha,  I picked a color pallet and bedding that would go either way and plan to make more girly or boyish with the accessories.

For a girl, I am leaning toward the glass/crystal/silver looking items with antiqued finsihes and for a boy I am going with more wood and bright color accents.

I am also doing a wall that will have the alphabet on it in different shapes and sizes.  I have a different option for a boy or girl!!!

 Boy Option....

Girl Option....similar to this

The alphabet wall will go above the Changing Table...so it should help out this lovely blank wall

I am really excited about how it will turn out.   I really love the bedding and my teal....yes teal accent wall even without the accessories.   Its completely different from what I did with Amelia's and a little modern.   I only have a few pics but will update when we have a finished !!!

37 Weeks

So I blew it on 36 weeks....so here is the rundown from the last few days.   If I think to snap a picture I will.

How Far Along: 37 Weeks 5 Days

How Big is Baby: Think Watermelon.....Weighing in around 6 - 7 lbs and 19 inches.   Geez...I am running out of room

Weight Gain: Going to back track on the weight...apparently I was wearing heavy clothes, because at the 36 week appointment I had only gained 25 lbs....the nurse decided that it was my clothes b/c I hadn't lost 4 lbs.   And this past week I was at 26...so 1 lbs in one week.   We are growing, growing, growing!!!

Sleep: Still making the usual trips to bathroom, but sleeping really good in between those periods.   I am also getting sleepy earlier and earlier....back to that tired stage from the first trimester.

Best moment this week: Been enjoying the past two week of maternity leave.   I actually got the nursery finished...just waiting for Baby Hutch to get here to accessorize a few things, knocked out several doctor appointment for me and Amelia and hit up the Water Park!!!  We also had a blast at Amelia's Birthday Party!!!

Food Cravings: Still downing the water and Gatorade.

Foods I Can't Stand: Chocolate = heartburn from Hell...even with the Zantac!!!

Movement: I get this punch on my side, then an arch on the other that is getting pretty painful....things seem to be running out of room

What I miss:  Wearing normal clothes...really miss my comfy shorts and tops for the summer

What I am looking forward to: Only 8 more days to go!!!! Getting to meet this little one!!!

Milestones: 8 more days left!!!

Working on My Fitness: Walking and going to a Spin Class.   Really have enjoyed the change of pace with Spin.  Such a great workout !!!

Other: I have dilated a little and having contractions here and there....going to the doctor on Wednesday again for my last visit, then Friday for Pre-op at the Hospital.   We will do a final platelet check, but they are holding steady above 100, so I am very thankful for that!  We are schedule for June 4th at 11:00.  My only concern is I am a major breakfast eater so I should be a major diva by the time they take me back for surgery!!!  Oh Well!!!

Two Week Summer

Its no secret I LOVE summer break and hanging out with my sidekick.  We enjoy playing in the backyard, going to the zoo, and her absolute favorite ....going to the waterpark.

Since we are scheduled for Baby Hutch's arrival in no less than 11 days we are squeezing everything we possibly can in.

Today we hit up Geyser Falls.  Don't panic I brought some help ...I only went down one slide and that was enough this big mama!!!  Amelia and Mollie played hard and she passed smooth out within 20 minutes of leaving.

We are going to work on our tans a little more and just have fun these next few days before Baby Hutch arrives

Also, I promise to do a weekly update tomorrow.   My photographer has been MIA and I have been lazy.

35 Weeks

How Far Along: 35 Weeks 6 Days

How Big is Baby: Honey Dew Melon and according to the the ultra sound this week weighing in 5.8 lbs.

Weight Gain: I made up for the 1 lbs gain....Busted out 4 lbs in two weeks...yikes!!!  That brings the total to 29.  Told ya the growth spurt was coming!

Sleep: Having trouble getting to sleep, but once I do it has been some really good, deep sleep.  Hard to get up in the morning sleep...guess I am resting up for the next few weeks.

Best moment this week: Friday was my last day at work.   I am taking the last 8 days off to get things together and hang with Amelia and do a few fun things!!!

Food Cravings: Water, water and water....I feel like I am floating with as much as I am drinking.

Foods I Can't Stand: Still not to fond of sweets

Movement: Seriously have had a few moments when I thought this was going to happen....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XU1MAokrrUk  This kiddo has made my stomach do some STRANGE this here lately!

What I miss:  Finding a comfortable position....not to many position are comfortable.

What I am looking forward to: Taking this week to get Amelia's 3rd!!! Party together and the nursery together.

Milestones: Finished all my stuff for school!

Working on My Fitness: Walking at least 4 days a week.   Amazing how much better I feel as long as I am moving

Other: We have made it to the weekly doctor rotation.  I went Wednesday and had a great check up.  They did an ultra sound to check the kidney's out to make sure they were doing fine since they were dilated last time we went.   They looked good and everything was normal.   Also, they did blood work to check my platelets.  They were are 109K.  They had dropped some, but still at a decent level.   Blood work will be done again next week and we will discuss the options of a steroid treatment to boost them if necessary.   Hard to believe that it is only 3 weeks away!!!

Shower Me with Some April Goodness

Just a quick pic review of our lives in April....this year is already flying by!!!
