It's Over Meow
Today Meow's quiet peaceful world under the bed all came crashing down He will never be the same. The look on his face when I bent down to pull Amelia out by her feet ( she was after a ball and then discovered meows hiding spot) was so sad. He looked at me with sadness as to say
"where am I going to go and hide, will I ever have peace again?".
I told him. His game was up and he was SOL, and no, the was no peace an quiet and if he found it please let me know.
Then I grabbed Amelia by the heels and drugged her out before she got to far gone.

We're Not Slowing Up a Bit....
Monday evening we had the first annual Pumpkin Carving at Brady's house. Everyone had their own Pumpkin and looked deep down and found the inner artist. Of course you can't carve a punpkin without power tools...right??? Well this group can't. You can check out all the exciting pumpkin carving by clicking here
Tuesday was Grandy's 80th birthday and boy did he have a big party!!! He just didn't know he was going to. Seventy of his closest friends gathered to suprise him. He had no clue and was truly surprise. I took quite a few pictures so you can just click here to check them out.
Hopefully the rest of the week will be fairly calm....but who knows.

Pumpkin Patch
We've had a busy weekend. We ended it today with a trip to the local pumpkin patch!
The Pumpkin Patch had all kinds of neat things....
Here Amelia is playing in the "Corn"box. She loved it!
Next we went through the Hay Maze. She liked the big tunnel, but the smaller tunnel...umm not so much!
After the hay maze, we loaded up for the Hay Ride! We got to stop and watch Farmer Doug feed his cows, Lavern, Shirley, Thelma and Louise. Soo much fun!!!
Cruisin' on the Hayride.
We finally got to the Pumpkin Patch and oh the choices....Amelia would pick a pumpkin up then throw it.
She went between several different pumpkins before deciding on her favorite.
We loaded back up, pumpkins in hand, and set out to the barn!
We almost left without getting to milk the Molly the Mooo Cow. This is Amelia's buddy she met while there. It was just us and them and another couple. It was so nice and peaceful and we got to take our time.
The Pumpkin Patch was great. If you are around the Clinton area stop by and check it out Trace Farms Pumpkin Patch. We sure enjoyed it!

The State Fair
We trucked it down to the fairgrounds today to visit the ol' Mississippi State Fair. I haven't been since I was a Senior in high school. Not much has changed. We walked and ate and rode a few rides. Mom and Marvin rode this big kids ride for the day....the Mega Drop! Props to the them. Anyway, another major picture overload so just click on the link below....
Vegas Vacation!!!
So I have been a little lax on the blogging the past week, but I have been tired. No excuse, just worn slap the hell out. We took a vacation and I am recouping. I left from school on thursday, literally got picked up in the carpool line and headed to the airport. 5 hours later Jeremy, Robert, Cammie and myself were in Las Vegas for a long weekend of fun. Our hotel was great, the food was wonderful and we had a great time. We visited the Hoover Dam. We rented a covertible Mustang and drove out there and then around Vegas. We visited Pawn Stars...Chumlee wasn't in. We saw a Show, Circe' De Solie (sp) and the was AWESOME! We lost a little money and drank a few adult beverages. Over all it was a great trip, however our plane landed on Monday evening at 7:15 and it was then that I realized that in 12 hours my rear was going to be walking out the door to work! Yep....needless to say I am just doing laundry and had to stop by Wally World to buy new underwear because all of mine were dirty and I just didn't feel like washing clothes! Anyway, prepare for picture overload......
Cammie and Me and the airport waiting to fly out.
Inside an inspection tunnel at the Hoover Dam. That is a vent shaft behind us and the Colorado River is a long way down!
Our Blue Mustang convertible!!! It was perfect weather that day.
The new suspension bridge over the Colorado River by the Hoover Dam.
We took the Dam Tour....just a few hundred dam jokes were made.
Lake Mead behind the dam.
Looking out the vent tunnel
