Sweet Home Alabama
Is what it has been for the past seven years. Jeremy and I moved over here one week seven years ago almost to the day. We had just gotten married and off we went to another state...3 hours aways from any family. Jeremy had a job, I had just graduated and did not. I new nothing about the area or the schools. Oh do I remember those first few months. I cried and cried, I thought I wanted to move back, but we stayed. I found a job, we moved, we met friends and we started our own family.
However, we find ourselves in the same situation again. Jeremy has been offered a wonderful job back in Mississippi close to family. We made the decision to move back. It really was a no brainer. So beginning in June, Alabama will no longer be Home Sweet Home.
It will be a hard move. I have cried and cried....again. I will be leaving a job I love. Not only do I get to work with some of the most special students in the world, but the people I work with are great. I will hate leaving them. We have also met so many wonderful people while in Alabama. It will sad to leave everyone.
However, it will be wonderful being around family. Both Jeremy and I were so lucky to grow up around family and neither one of us want Amelia to miss out on that opportunity.
With all that babbling....I want to let you know that I will be extremely busy the next few weeks. We will be packing, moving, having Amelia's 1st Birthday (yeah, hard to believe) and anything else you want to throw in the mix. So if I slack on the posting I apologize.

Upgrade
If you were in "my Publix" today you more than likely heard my
child. See we upgraded from that regular buggie to this hot rod.
I have never been around a child who enjoyed her shopping trip more.
She steered with one hand, drove both steering wheels at the same
time, honked the horn and yelled at little old ladies in the middle
of the isle. She was the baddest thing Publix has seen in while.
So if you are in "our Publix" look out. Amelia has a new set of
wheels.

Applesauce = Strep Throat
Call me a terrible mom or what but maybe I didn't see he signs. We
still were not feeling our best this morning so back to the doctor we
went. This is the third trip in five weeks. We have had a fever
virus, roseola and now..... Strep Throat. Big girl can't catch a
break. Don't worry she is in good hands. Woo came and rescued her
and is going to let her hang ou until I go over for the weekend.
So really...maybe it wasn't the applesauce.
