In my never ending nesting, my house will never be this clean and organized again, I found this picture. It has to be from when I was in eighth grade, Taylor was in sixth and Mollie (the little boyish looking thug) was in first grade or kindergarten. It was to good to pass up!!! Enjoy the laugh!!!

Still Pregnant!!
Just wanted to update everyone on the status of Baby Hutchinson. He/She is still hanging out, taking his/her precious little time getting here. When I went back to the doctor on Tuesday there was no change....not even in my weight (that is a good thing!!!). Sooo, we are in the hurry up and wait stage. As you know, neither of us are very patient people so this is driving us nuts!!!
I go back to the doctor on Tuesday, a day after my due date, if I haven't had the baby by then. The doctor said that we will talk about inducing if I haven't had the baby by Tuesday. Until then, we are just hanging out and waiting.

Just FYI
and not to entice anyone to come see us when the baby is born....because I teach in the wonderful state of Alabama and my retirement is invested in somehow tied to Robert Trent Jones Golf Course I get excellent discounts here. It is a great resort, half way between the hospital and the house. Not only would you be getting to see us and the baby, but you could enjoy a relaxing get away at a Motel 6 price!
There are specific days, but it pretty much covers the next two weeks! Just let me know if you would like more info. Just wanted to pass it along!

Add this one to my list!
As most of you know I am not the most graceful person in the world. Add a large belly and wow my coordination goes right out the window. To be honest, I am amazed I haven't done something like this yet.
Anyway, as we were leaving to go over to a friends house yesterday to cookout and hangout for the Memorial Day weekend I decided to do this to myself!!!

Along with this.....

How you may ask??? I stepped out the door going to the basement to go to the car and missed/slipped the first step. Instead of falling backwards, I fell forwards, kinda in a timber type motion and down the steps I went. I stopped at the landing, by catching myself with my hands on the wall. I ended up on all fours. Somehow I managed not to hit my belly in the process, but I beat the mess out of my knees and ankles. Today I am finding spots that didn't hurt yesterday, and feel like I have been in a car wreck!!!
I called the doctor to see if I needed to watch for anything and let them know that my graceful self busted my rear end. They wanted me to come in for a stress test to monitor the baby for a few hours. The baby was doing great. It fared much better than I did! Needless to say it made for quite an adventurous day!!!

Nursery Completed....
Almost, we still need a baby!!! Mollie came over and brought the bedskirt and other curtains. She also painted to canvases to go with the bedskirt. Things have really come together quite nicely if I do say so myself. Everything is ready and we are just waiting.
I went to the doctor today and not much change. Just a wait and see game now!
Here a the latest pictures of the completed nursery!!
Happy Birthday to Dad!!!
Today is Dad's 59th birthday!!! Just wanted to send out a quick Happy Birthday and if you see him don't forget to tell him!

I laugh everytime I think of this....
My parents, who have never been big fans of TV have a new obsession...Dancing with the Stars. They watch it religiously, and TiVo it when they are not at home. They discuss who should be voted off and who should stay and whatever you do....DO NOT CALL THE HOUSE FROM 7:00 - 8:00 ON MONDAY NIGHTS!!!! It is such a big deal that Mom, made Jeremy and I watch it when she was over here, then called Dad to discuss the show!
I crack up at listening to the two of them talking about "Dances". Maybe for their anniversary this year I should spring for Ballroom dancing classes. So at the next event or get together, if everyone is dancing, don't let Lou and Richard fool you, they have been watching "Dances" and should be professionals by now!!!

School's Out For Summer
Well for me it is. I decided to take the last week off and rest and take it easy. Today was my last day at work. My kids were great. We were scheduled for a field trip to the Baron's but it was rained out so we opted for pizza and a movie! What a nice day.
I am hoping to hang out, sleep a little more and get a few things on my list of to-do's taken care of in the next couple of days.
I go back to the doctor tomorrow, so we will see how things are progressing...or if they are. I have dropped a good bit.
One thing I have realized being pregnant is that your belly is on display for everyone to look at and try to decide whether it is boy or girl, big small, low, high, wide, out front etc. Most people are very courteous about "belly touching" and will ask to touch, and I don't mind, but I have found there are a few "belly molesters".
I encountered a Belly Molester at a party Jeremy and I had a few weeks back. I wish I could have blamed it on the beverage the lady was drinking but she became friendly with my belly early in the evening and by nine, they were on a first name basis. By 11:00, I could barely eat a chip without her rubbing and pawing my belly. She would attack from the front, come up from behind and rub the belly, it was not safe from any direction. I finally gave up and just went to bed. Needless to say, I have not had any other encounters like that! Jeremy and I affectionately refer to her now as "The Belly Molester!"

Curtains, Bed Skirt and a Baby...
Are all we really need for the Nursery to be complete. We have been working hard the past few days to finish things up. I have taken off a few days from work and spent some time just getting things together. Mom came over Sunday and helped me "nest". We decided that it was pretty difficult for me to clean the tub. It is fairly deep and the last time I cleaned it (two weeks ago) I felt like a turtle on my back! I am sure I looked like one as well.
Mom helped clean and straighten things up while I ran a few errands....it was a huge help.
So the nursery is coming together. We swapped the changing table and crib to opposite walls and bought new blinds and shelves to put up. We also got a few odds and ends (trash cans, hamper, storage bins) and washed all the clothes.
It only took 3 months of looking, but this is one of the materials I picked out. It was difficult finding a material I liked that was not to gender specific, yet sweet and babyish. The bed skirt will be arriving shortly. My friend Jamey's grandmother is finishing it up. She made the curtains as well. We do lack the panel for the other window (I forgot I had two windows in the room).
Here are the new blinds and curtains. Also, you will notice the green shelf has moved again. I think we have moved it 50 times. I think we are going to keep it here.
For those of you who worry about me....this is the outfit for the baby to go home from the hospital. It has been washed and ironed. Yes, I can iron. I have a sweet blanket that goes with it. We have yet to pack our bags for the hospital. Maybe we should since I only have 3 1/2 weeks left.
As you can see we still need curtains for this window. They will be here soon. We bought the floating shelves for knick knacks and other items. I really like how the picture frame sits on the top shelf. Now, all I need are pictures to put in it!
Again, these are the shelves we bought. As you can see we have several stuff animals and a large frame. If you click on the picture, you can read what it says....it is priceless. Also, I received the cutest piggy bank, and of course the pink jelly cat!
As for the Baby Hutchinson update. I went to the doctor again today. Iron levels are staying the same. My platelet count is back up and my blood pressure is hanging out in the medium range. I had taken Monday and Tuesday off to help get it back down. That seems to help. Interesting piece of info, the heartbeat has been at 155 on average except for 2 times. Today the heartbeat was at 136. Everything was still on track. I am now going on a weekly basis. It is hard to imagine that we are at the end. Although I am glad. Kinda getting to the miserable state. We are also really excited to meet this thing that has been kicking and poking me for the past few months.
