Ride a Lil' Horsey..

We traveled to Mississippi this weekend to visit Granny D and Poppa Marvin in their new house.
Amelia got to visit and play with her cousin Clara.

She also got a cooking lesson from Granny D, Randall and Clara....

She spent some time with Granny Flo.  They became fast friends when Granny Flo had ice cream.  Poor child looked so sad just beggin.   Think puppy at the fence wanting to be fed.   It apparently worked.  Granny Flo used the "one for you...one for me" method.

We snagged a picture of Amelia with her grandmother and great-grandmother

and I snuck this one in....

Then we made the cross county trip to see Granny Elouise and Papaw Shorty.   Priss did some movin' and shakin' here.

There is no better toy than a walker.   Hours of entertainment.
And yes, we lost the shirt....slobber and graham cracker do wonders for childrens clothing.

Practicing her skills on the walker...again, hours of entertainment.

This is a rare photo....Amelia is still!!!

Before we left this morning we had to go check the animals out.   We loaded up the car and headed over to the barn.   Amelia was not as fond of the horses this time.

This big guy was not too scary.  He was still and quiet, made no naying (sp) noises, however his buddy across the barn was on crack.  Or maybe he was hungry.   He was walking back in forth, blowing and naying.   Amelia was NOT liking it.

So we took to animals that we were more familiar with.   By the way, she LOVES dogs.  She has learned to bark!!!  She makes te cutest little woof woof noise when a dog barks.

Sweet snotty nose!

Poppa Marvin and Amelia ventured out to a group of "smaller" horses.  She was more receptive to these guys.  Plus Poppa let her "kick" their noses....she thought it was funny.

They had so much fun they gathered a crowd.

And I just thought this guy was so pretty this morning....

By the time we made it back to Bham, it was time to what else....EAT!!!  So Amelia enjoyed some chicken and stars and yummy fresh strawberries.....
I think she liked them!!!

I Fought the Law...and the Law Won.

We had a case of Pink Eye....

When Amelia woke up Friday morning it looked as if Ugly ( her Ugly Doll) had whooped her a@@.  Sorry, that is what is looked liked.   I call 'em like I see 'em!

We are all better and Ugly has had his a@@ beat (he got put throught the wash cyle).

Nerf Toys and Men in Trees

This weekend was so nice.  The weather was beautiful and we couldn't wait to get outside.   We took to the backporch and the sights and sounds were....well just look for yourself.

One Sever year old birthday party + fifteen friends + every imaginable Nerf toy = This

Our other neighbor needed a few trees trimmed and this is what we had on the left.

Woo came over for a visit.  I think Amelia was glad Woo brought her necklace.

Woo kept Amelia and Jeremy and I went out to a movie...forgot those were even around.

Even Meow enjoyed some relaxation time this weekend.   I promise I do not stage these pictures with this cat....he does this stuff.   He is strange too.

Sunday nap was AWESOME....again.

We ventured outside again on Sunday.  Amelia enjoyed hangin out in Dad's truck.   I think she has been paying to much attention to my driving....what a look!

Sunday was also good to my car...it got a much needed bath!!!

And while Jeremy washed my car, Amelia hung out in the pack n play.  This was her view point...and my favorite pic of the weekend.

Have a wonderful week.

Millie and Olly

We started the week off with a bad hair day...but at least we smiled about it.

My child is strange.   This is what she picked for Valentine's.  No sweet kitty or bear.  She wanted this...and LOVES it.  Laughs uncontrollably when she plays with.   My child is strange.

She enjoyed playing with Olly (the possum, b/c we give everything a name) this afternoon.

We are guessing the converstation went like this....
Amelia:  Olly (b/c that is what we named that possum) stay out of the street....
Olly:  Why Amelia, the street looks like fun.
Amelia:  Because you will end up like this (see pic below)

After explaining the rules of the road to Olly, Priss took to "working" on her walker.   The wheels have been giving her issues.  She turned it over and troubleshot for quite some time....

Things had turned serious at this point....the heavy tools had come out.

All that explaining and all that work can really be tough, especially when Olly is not listening....and things are not cooperating.  I think someone might have gotten their diaper in a wad.

So it was off to take a bath, our favorite pastime here lately.   Except for tonight we had a special visitor.

Meow was caught off guard and joined Amelia....surprisingly, he stayed. (for like 2 minutes)

I am not sure who is more confused here.

She is still trying to figure out why he got in the tub with her.  However, she was pumped that she got to take another bath right after this.   Two baths in one night....SCORE!!!!

All that excitement....it was time to relax and calm down.   Amelia and Daddy decided to play the Bellow.   It's this new instrument located on the belly.   It produces a cackling laugh.

We finally topped of the night with a back rub and then a bottle.

What a week and a afternoon.......stick around, we all seem to be crazy around here!!!

It's Like Watching Traffic...

Back and forth, back and forth...Amelia and Isaiah were non stop.  Played super hard and were completely exhausted by the end of their playdate.

Here are just a few pics that the paparazzi moms took!!!

Look at those brown eyes....

The window is the best place in the house.

Apparently both kiddo's are used to a camera....as you can see they pose well for the pics above.
