I recently heard/read that four year olds ask on average 476 questions a day. Think about that!!! They sleep a least 10 hours a night so seriously, that is a lot of questions. Miss Priss is by no means lacking in the questioning department and I really do fear her reasoning skills....more so down the road.
This is an example of just a two minute segment of our day
What are those crickets talking about?
Where is it coming from?
How do they talk?
When is Bennett done with his nap? working on her grammar
Why do those trees sound line rain?
And my personal favorite.
Why is that chalk purple?
Which led into the conversation-incident with the rocks
Mom: Amelia rocks should be thrown, do not throw the rocks
Amelia: jumps up in the air and let's the rocks go
Mom: Amelia, rocks should not fly /go into the air
Amelia: holds rocks in hands tightly and jumps. Then looks at me and says. They didn't fly.
She where me out with all the thinking she does. That little brain goes nonstop. But it is such a little joy.
