Sweet 16

How Far Along:    16 weeks 1 day

How Big is Baby:  Currently the size of a average avocado.  Just working its way through the produce section!

Weight Gain: 4  lbs

Maternity clothes: Still hanging in there with regualr jeans and pants...but I have been seriously thinking on getting that box of Maternity Clothes back out.  I have worn my favorite pair of dress jeans several times....oh I forgot how comfortable they were!!!

Sleep: Getting better!!!  Only getting up two or three times a night.  Or maybe its the sheer exhaustion from the past few days. 

Best moment this week: Enjoying being around family and friend and watching Amelia during Christmas.  She was so animated and really enjoyed it all.

Food Cravings: Been extremely thirsty...Gatorade G2 in Lemon Lime has been my go to lately.  I have gone through several 8 packs  

Foods I Can't Stand: The thought of eating deer meat makes me want to gag more than usual.  Oh and coffee.  I had started drinking coffee and was really enjoying it...now no thanks!!!

Movement: Maybe....or it could of been gas (ha).  Not really sure! 

What I miss: Still sticking with a tall, frosty, beer or a nice glass of wine…I sound like an alcoholic.

What I am looking forward to: We go back in three weeks for our ultrasound to find out the sex....however, we will NOT be doing that.  So just getting to see the baby is fun.

Milestones: Back to feeling good and "normal".  I am starting to get a bump and doing the growing over night stuff.     I am still chugging along with my running which is something I am proud of.  I truly believe it is one of the main reasons I feel so much better this go round.

Rocking Along

We went back to the baby dr today for our routine check up.  All is well and moving along right as schedule.  

Heartbeat was at 145 and the little booger was hanging out super low, as in tap dancing on my bladder.  Explains the frequent trips to the ladies room.  

I had to do the standard pee in the cup, blood pressure and blood work.  Everything was perfect except my platelets ate already starting to drop.  I had an issue with the last time, so they are watching it closely to make sure they stay at a safe level. 

We are now headed out to start our rounds for the Christmas.   Woohoo!!!

15 Weeks

So I stole this from a friend of mine who is also expecting.  She is about 5 weeks ahead of me and due in April with a Baby Boy.

She does a weekly update and answers some of the same questions.  Since I am super busy these days, but still want to have some documentation that I was pregnant!

So here goes....I promise to get a belly pic with the next update!

How Far Along:    15 Weeks 4 days

Weight Gain: 3  lbs

Maternity clothes: not quite, but the day is coming.  I think my Bella band will be getting some use in the next few weeks (especially with the Holidays)

Sleep: I can make the trip to the bathroom in my sleep…ha!  I am getting up every three to four hours to pee!!! Well last night only twice

Best moment this week: Seeing Amelia point to my belly after someone told her there was a baby in there, then lifting my shirt, looking around and telling me she didn’t see it!!!

Food Cravings: I seriously put a hurt on some Chicken Wings last week.  Nothing in particular. 

Movement: Nope, not yet. 

What I miss: A really tall, frosty, beer or a nice glass of wine…I sound like an alcoholic. 

What I am looking forward to: Just taking this pregnancy in stride and enjoying it.   I go back to the Dr. on Friday so that is always exciting.

Milestones: I am over the “I want to puke everywhere and I could fall asleep standing up phase” and really am feeling great. 

Mo Mo Mo

What does the Santa cow say....Mo Mo Mo!!!  At least that is what Amelia and I decided on Saturday.  

Chick fil a had breakfast with the Santa cow and elf on Saturday so before we headed out to birmingham we made that stop.  She was not to fond of santa cow, but really like the elf. 

It was tons if fun... chicken minis, balloons, a cup with candy and a baby cow...what more could a girl ask for.

Mom needed a time out

I have been terrible in the fact that I have not been taking pictures...and lets face it, that is what people come to the blog for...look at pictures.   So just close your eyes and use your imagination (isn't that something a teacher would say!)

Last week was eventful.We had the Christmas Program on Sunday....Amelia was a sheep.  She did great in practice then realized that her Woo was in the audience during the actual performance.   Well Mom got to watch and Woo go to be the extra sheep!!! 

Fast forward to Thursday....Priss wakes up with a fever, cough, and sore throat.  One doctor's visit later we are sitting pretty with a nice virus...but no STREP THROAT!!!  yeah!!! 

Saturday was the Children's Christmas Party at church and the Bolton Christmas Parade.  What an event!!! We caught enough candy to make a dentist cringe and shook and jived with the bands.  That afternoon we took our lovely Christmas card picture amongst screaming and yelling and a complete breakdown.   Mom had to go take a nap....Dad and Amelia said so!!!  Two hours later a refreshed Mom and a a little girl who destroyed her room while she "napped" awoke to the outside of the house decorated!!!  Hooray for Daddy!!!

Did I mention that I played tennis on Thursday in 40 degree weather....which dropped to 30 by the time I was done.   Yeah, something about a league then started in October and ended in December just didn't register that it might be cold....HA!!! 

We have been enjoying lots of good home cooked meals lately.   I keep stalking The Pioneer Woman's Recipes and Jeremy keeps making them.   Yum Yum!!! 

I have my last week of school before the break (insert Hallelujah chorus) and I am tying up a few lose ends.   We are planning a trip to Birmingham to ride the Polar Express Train, go to the Zoo and enjoy a mini vacation as a family before the hectic season gets started.

Round Two

So....its not exactly breaking news, but the Hutchinson Family will be adding a new addition on or around June 11th !!!  Yep, we are in for round two.   I must have lost my mine and forgot about about that exciting fun stuff that comes with pregnancy....maybe I should go back and read my blog from last time to remind myself.   Okay so it really is worth it to get a precious little angel. 

Currently I am 12 weeks along and feeling great.  I made it over the lovely....HOLY S#&! I am going to puke everywhere stage and am trucking along.   Amelia....well she knows there is a baby in my belly, but that is about it....ha!!!  We will see how this plays out!

Several things are differnt this time around.   I am not as tired, but I think I just stay tired so I don't notices it as much.  Chasing the energizer bunny does that to you.   Also my nausea came in a different form.  Instead of being green all day, it would come out of nowhere and then I would try not to puke....or I would.   Baby Hutch's heartbeat has been a steady 155 both Doctor visits.  

We are excited and really cannot wait to see how this journey plays out.....

A Fly On the Wall

Oh to be a fly on the wall at our house in the morning....some days are better than others.  Today goes down as one of the not so good ones.....

"Amelia got up at 5:30 crawled in bed with us....slept til 6:15....then she wanted Baby Ugly, then we got dressed and she watched mickey mouse clubhouse, then we fought over the last piece of banana, which she shared, then changed her mind and told me to "spit it out!!!" which I had already swallowed, so she threw a fit.  I pick her up only to find out she had relieved herself on me or or somewhere in the house....so we both had to changed clothes....."

We were both a little late this morning.....

But that is okay....we are making Banana nut bread tonight so Momma does not have to "spit her bite out" anymore!!!
