At least that is what I am hoping Strep is going to have around our house. Yep, that is correct. Priss has strep again. The super Strength antibotic that she had to take the first part of June I guess was not strong enough. She started running a low grade fever yesterday and coughing last night. The runny nose showed up this morning so off to the doctor we went. I really show be getting some kinda bonus kickback by now.
After talking to the ENT, we are schedule to go in on July 6th to discuss the tonsils taking a hike. Say a little prayer for Priss....and her Mom and Dad. I think she might deal with the surgery better than they will.

It gets even better
Apparently the Garmin was a hot item this weekend and they were completely, and when I say completely sold out, The only one left was the display. Well the bargain shopper I am was super pumped. I got that baby for an additional 10% off the sales price. Yep!!! I was excited and can not wait to go and try this gadget out.

Go Big or Go Home
Was the inside joke about the Garmin around our house. I have always secretly wanted one, but been to cheap to purchase one of these bad boys, but today when shopping for jeremy's fathers day gift at Best Buy it was on CLEARANCE!!! I couldn't pass it up since it was 80% off....right!?!?
Here's to going big or going home!!!

Water Logged
Monday, Amelia, Gabriel, Victoria, Cortney and myself loaded up in Nina's minivan and headed out on a field trip.
Cortney and I had planned to take the kids to Geyser Falls early in May and I think we were just as excited. Two hours later and several pit stops....who knew it would take that long, we arrived. We sunscreened up and hit the kiddie areas....
That did not last to long. The gang wanted to go to the big bucket!!! Amelia and I spent majority of our day her climbing and sliding. She starting sliding with me, but by the end of the day would go by herself. Mom would go first and she would come smiling after. The picture below shows the area we climbed only 1,537,876,003 times. I know....I counted. That is also how many times the little brats dumped large buckets of water on me....next time I am going to be the bully.
Needless to say a fun time was has by all. Amelia and the rest of the crew never made it our of parking lot. They passed out and slept the entire way home.

Amelia Turns Two!!!
It is hard to believe that this time two years ago Jeremy and I were about to welcome a sweet, precious, calm even tempered little girl into our lives. Who am I kidding....our worlds were rocked by the sweetest, most precious, goofiest (is that a word), smallest little chunk of personality.
The past two years have been nothing short of fun. Amelia is such a joy. She is always laughing and smiling. She has the best temperment and really is an easy going little booger. She has been talking up a storm and repeating everything, and I mean everything anyone says. Yes, mom cleaned her mouth up quickly!!! She loves books and being outdoors. She has a blast riding in the buggie behind Daddy's bike and telling Momma to "run faster" or "Go Momma, Go!!!" She is just a tad bit head strong and bossy. But she gets it honest.
People always ask what you did before you had kids....HA!!! I had way to much time on my hands apparently....I wouldn't trade the business of our daily lives for the hum drum of life without her.
Here are of few pictures from the past year.....Wow has she grown....
Her First 5K in December with Aunt Mary Beth and Momma
She was a star in the Christmas Program at Church
Reading about Astronmy at Granny Elouise and Papaw Shorty's house in Septmeber
Sleeping Late and watching Cartoon with Momma
Bzzzzz.....Amelia the Bee
Reading in her room during Christmas Break
Primping for a Tea Party with Woo Woo and MoPo in December
She wanted her damn raisins!!! In January
Went to the Rodoe with Victoria in February
Bad hair.....Again....
Riding her tricycle in March.
That Bad Hair Again......
Its Snookie....
Watching for the Bus after school in April
Loving some Spaghetti
Sharing a cookie with her Nena Too
Giving Meow Meow a hug....and he still loves her.
Playing in the fountain before the race
Hunting Easter Eggs is tough
Riding in the buggie is the best.

Round Six
You would never guess it, but we have Strep Throat....again. This is number 6 since August, 8 since April of last year. Amelia woke up Thursday morning at 3:00 am with fever of 103 and ready to party. Well, sorta ready to party. We more like hung out and watched the same five episodes of Chuggington that we have recorded to 6:00 am.
I ran into work (my last day) turned in my keys and gradebook, and we hit the road to Doctor's office. One quick strep test - well not really someone has learned the routine and resisted just a little bit, and asked for a sucker before even getting the test - and we were postive for strep. new medication and a appointment for Wednesday with an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist to see where we go from here.
Its looking like someone is going to be eating an extra amount of ice cream for her birthday.....until Wednesday.
