We ventured to the zoo on Sautrday!!! Had a fabulous time checking out all the animals, playing in the splash pad and just enjoying the cool weather. However, this trip had a little bit of excitement.
Well Saturday as entire fam was checking out the new cougar cubs, we heard 4
loud gunshots....YEP gunshots, and they were close!!! The nice zookeeper who
was telling us all about the new cubs looked at us and we both had that "uh oh"
face. We continued to talk and within minutes heard a ton of sirens. We hung
out at the zoo for another hour riding the train and carousel then heading
out.
Last night on the news we happened to catch this story.....SERIOUSLY!!! I
think I might run every red light next time I go to the zoo!!!
