So my post have been short here lately, but we have been busy. I also apologize for not posting Halloween pics....they are included at the end.
The past week Jeremy celebrated the Big 3-0!!! For his birthday I bought him tickets to the Saints game and we headed to New Orleans for the weekend. Robert and Cammie went down the night before and met us. We stayed at a cute little Boutique Hotel in the French Quarter. Bourbon Street was 3 blocks, Jackson Square was one block, the River Walk was 2 blocks, and my favorite....even though they didn't serve any meat or eggs .... was being 3 blocks from Cafe Du Monde.
We enjoyed a lazy Saturday hanging out at an establishment near our hotel watching football and visiting. We ate FIVE times Saturday. We were stuffed by the end of the day.
We enjoyed a little Karaoke....Robert and Jeremy even performed.
We walked up and down Bourbon Street just looking at the sights....which is always interesting.
On Sunday we went to the game. People were everywhere. I would love to go back. I had a blast...I think Jeremy enjoyed it, too.
We bought shirts while down there....Good thing,
because we were sitting with some serious Saints fan.. You can somewhat see the guy behind us. He had on gym shorts, rally cap, knee sock, and sweat bands for his arms and head. We had a blast with the crew!!!

Our seats were really good. We were not to high or too low....just right!!! I really want to go back!!!

Don't panic, we didn't take Amelia with us....we will wait to expose her to
Bourbon street, however with the last post, I think she might be ready. Just kidding, please don't send
DHR after me!!! She spent the weekend with Woo and Pops. Woo has lots of pics, but they may never make it off the camera. Saturday Amelia and Woo went to Raymond and Vicksburg to visit. Amelia went to church on Sunday and then back to Raymond on Sunday....girl was on the go!!!
She was a little fussy, we figured it was from all her traveling, but when we got back to Alabama she bit, yes bit Jeremy....Priss has a tooth....well she now has two and another one on the way. No wonder she was not happy!!!
We had a wonderful weekend in NOLA and Amelia really enjoyed hanging with Woo and Pops!!!
And because I seem to be running a day late and dollar short these days....without any further delay may I present.....Amelia, the Giraffe.
The hood kept falling in her face, so she took care of it, pulled it down and took a nap!!!

Again, Amelia and Daddy playing in the creek.

Being a Giraffe is
hard work.

Granny D and Poppa Marvin came over and we went to
Tannehill. We walked around and looked at the Halloween decorations and the park.
You can see one blue eye peeping out

We have such a happy looking giraffe in this picture!!!
